Deep Space Drive-In has a studio/gallery located in Downtown, Denver, CO, dedicated to providing local artists and organizations with a versatile space to bring their next creative project to life. Our mission is to support and showcase innovative work in a welcoming, collaborative environment.
Most recently, the DSDI gallery has become host to a bi-annual artist residency program that encourages providing education as well as collaboration with creative technology. Learn more about our residency.

Solo Exhibition
A show by Matador
This show was a journey into the creative lens of Denver artist, Matador.
Using recycled coffee cups, he created 75 unique pieces to interact with and find over 300+ illustrative combinations by flipping and turning accompanying warming sleeves.
This collection was created over two years of study and illustration and featured local coffee vendor, Ramble Roasting to sponsor the opening.

A show by AG_PNT
"Good art isn't cheap, cheap art isn't good, but everyone loves a deal!"
With 60+ pieces for under $100, this show sent collectors and first time art buyers home with a piece of this massive exhibition whether it was an AG_PNT canvas or flash tattoos provided at the event.
AG_PNT filled the floating walls at DSDI gallery with thrifted items before painting the entire wall as one piece and embellishing each individual piece with precision spray painted art to transform the gallery space into one giant piece.

You 'Member?

Collaborative Show by
Anthony Maes & Diego Florez Arroyo
This event hosted local photographer Anthony Maes and local painter, playwrite, poet, and musician, Diego Florez Arroyo for a collaborative show titled "You 'Member?", which showcased painted and photographed works of scenes from Denver's Westwood neighborhood as well offering local food and car clubs space to exhibit in the space.
The Yearbook Project: First Class

The first edition of The Yearbook Project featuring 24 local artists paired into groups of three (musician, photographer, illustrator) to create a collaborative piece to show alongside other groups.
This show brings an "exquisite corpse" aspect to creating with local artists, but also has fundraisers for local organizations and food/drink from local vendors.

Projection Mapping Workshop
4 Part Lecture/Lab
DSDI conducted a four-part projection mapping workshop in partnership with RiNo Art District in Denver, CO. The first three sessions focused on learning TouchDesigner software and understanding equipment, including projectors and signal flow.
The fourth session culminated in an exhibition where DSDI students projected their work onto murals located at Denver Central Market.

Homeless Benefit Extravaganza
Fundraiser/Community Outreach
DSDI partnered with HouseParty Presents to put on a two day fundraiser designed to gather and deliver supplies to homeless Denver residents.
This event brought 25 boxes of clothing and 400 lbs of food to those in need. Cash funds donated to this event were given to Mutual Aid Monday and Showers for all while also receiving staffing/assistance from Metro Caring and Food Bank of The Rockies.

Private Event
An event/launch for Regeneration Earth, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing better hospice care and water cremation. This event included food service and presentation accompanied by projection mapped lifecycle art.
